Detailed description of Green Tree Golf Club, Eighteen Hole, CLOSED 2016
Green Tree Golf Club -Eighteen Hole, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Vacaville, California. Also at the facility is a 9-hole executive course.
Located just off the I-80 freeway in Vacaville between San Francisco and Sacramento, Green Tree is conveniently accessible to the entire Bay Area.
The 18-hole course has a par of 71 and plays to a maximum of 6,301 yards from the championship tees. With Bentgrass/Poa, tree-lined fairways, numerous water hazards, and well-placed bunkers, this well-kept course is a challenge for all golfers.
Built in 1962, the course has undergone extensive renovations to include a rerouting of the nines to improve flow and speed up play.
The course closed without warning on February 24, 2016.

A suprisingly hard course for its length.

I've played here numerous times through the years. It's a decent course but I prefer Rancho,Paradise, or Blue Rock which are all near by.
